By now you should have seen how the elderly trishaw man Mr Lee was humiliated and cheated of his hard earned money by 3 British tourists.

If you wish to help him, why not take one of his rides and give him a good tip? He is providing trishaw rides at Clarke Quay, Singapore from about 5pm to 3am.
Acting on suggestions from kind hearted people who wish to help him but are not physically in Singapore, I have started a Paypal Donation account for Mr Lee. Who am I? I am the guy who reposted the video clip "Bastards bullying Singapore senior citizen". You can verify this by viewing "About This Video" at YouTube, I have a link back to this blog.
Updates of the donation amounts will be posted here using screen captures of the account. I will pass him the money periodically. If he refuses the money, it will be donated to a charity for the elderly. Either way, someone needy benefits.

About Mr Lee Shee Lam
The good-natured 67-year old senior works every day from about 5pm to 3am, and sleeps the rest of the day.
On a good day, he earns about S$30 (US$20) but on most days, he pockets much less.
Mr Lee was born without a right ear, and other than rheumatism in his legs, he does not suffer from other illnesses. He reckons he has two or three more years left in him as a trishaw rider.
He said: 'You need a lot of strength and I think I won't have enough strength by then.'
Mr Lee has been providing joyful trishaw rides to visitors of Singapore for more than 15 years. Here are some of his testimonials:
We had to take a picture of this guy who was determined to cycle us from one end of Singapore to the other. Due to road inclines and the cyclist's age we ended up pushing him most of the way!..but we laughed the whole journey and our mate thought it was very funny too ("very good, hahh!" every time he took a cunning short cut). Thankfully the car drivers we held up on-route also thought it was highly amusing.

I know accidentally that old man, because I myself have been at him in his riksja in singapore and died of shame myself in fact. I have thus largely tipped, because, however, an unique experience was this way see singapore. - Translated from Dutch
